Tours

Thank you for your interest in the TECO Line Streetcar! The Streetcar is free to ride for everyone, everyday. Each Streetcar can hold 100 people - with 48 seats, and room for 52 standing. The Streetcar is open to the general public, and to anticipate other guests already onboard for your journey.
Please Ride with Respect in order to have the safest and best experience:

  • Do not open the windows.
  • Do not stick hands out of the windows.
  • Stay in your seat while the Streetcar is moving.
  • Keep aisles clear.
  • No eating or drinking.
  • No shouting or loud noises.
  • Offer your seat to those in need.

Group Tours

Learn about the history of the Streetcar and surrounding neighborhoods with our Streetcar Onboard Tours. Your group will ride with Streetcar staff as it travels past our 11 stations through Ybor City, Channel District, and Downtown Tampa. From end to end, the trip is about 30 minutes. For a full roundtrip down and back, the trip is about 1 hour. This is a free community program offered by HART.


Onboard Tours are available Monday through Thursday before 12 PM, and based on staff availability or if there are potential conflicting events along the Streetcar line. Groups larger than 40 people may not be able to be accommodated, or may may need to split up into separate trips.
Please note: The Streetcars are public transportation, and the Onboard Tours are not a private vehicle. Other guests will be boarding and exiting along the way.
